Nutritional Therapy

Feel it’s time for a change?

Do you think you would benefit from support and guidance on what and how you eat?  Allowing you to take more control of your health, optimise recovery, manage symptoms of chronic disease alongside medication or reduce medication side effects?

I help busy, overwhelmed women and men aged 50+ to regain control of their health and feel at their best, to enjoy, not just endure mid-life.

Nutrition plays a key role in how we age, manage illness and recovery and live well. My role as a nutritional therapist is to support and guide you through a personalised approach from minor tweaks in daily diet to whole-scale changes depending on your personal needs, confidence and comfort. I work in three or five and extra support 1 : 1 programmes.  This allows for recommendations to be tried and tested, added to or changed,  providing a sustainable way forward that truly works for you.

Gut health and digestive issues; changing metabolic health – blood pressure, cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, heart and vascular health, weight gain; chronic conditions; fatigue; illness, injury and treatment recovery can all benefit from nutritional support.  What’s more, it can be tailored to your likes and dislikes, creating a positive relationship with the foods that bring health and joy.

I work on a science and evidence-based, food-first approach, but do recommend food supplements and testing if appropriate. I also explore new ideas and research when clients feel they’ve tried everything and hit a brick wall.

In addition, I run in-person and online group workshops. These allow you to find out more about certain health concerns and how to take control of your health in a way that suits you. Courses have a maximum of ten participants to allow for open questions and discussion. Whatever the subject, there is no shaming, stupid questions or putting anyone on the spot. The aim is for understanding, shared experiences, support and options that allow you to find your own path. To find out more go to services.
